About Gelato
Its Sunset Sherbet and Thin Mint parentage shows up in the nose: berry and citrus up front, cream underneath. Because so many growers run it, no two jars look quite alike.
What to look for
Compare jars by smell and bud structure. A good Gelato should smell sweet and a little citrusy the moment you open it.
